The IEP Process reviews the paperwork and processes used for providing special ed services to students. Paraeducators learn their role in the IEP process and in relation to the partner teacher, as well as the steps in the IEP process and the components of the IEP document.

Participants also develop skills in data collection with activities and exercises on informal and formal data gathering, anecdotal record-taking, and four specific student-behavior data recording systems - so paraeducators understand the importance of accurate data collection and how data shapes the development of future IEP goals and objectives.

Each Training Module provides solid instruction on key content knowledge and collaborative skills - so your paraeducators learn how to effectively meet the needs of students with disabilities and, at the same time, receive ongoing training and professional development as required under NCLB and IDEA.
