This program was developed to help teachers, principals, and central office leaders develop their own approach to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Early Intervening Services (EIS) that befits their school. In this program, principals, master teachers, and consultants demonstrate two approaches: the protocol approach and the problem-solving approach that meet the intent and spirit of IDEIA 2004.

With over 2 hours of footage and step-by step instruction, a national education consultant compares and contrasts the two approaches so a personalized approach can be created based on the school’s context, needs, staff commitments and starting point.
