Designed for women with intellectual and other developmental disabilities (ID/DD). The learning and support needs of women with ID/DD have been neglected in general public health materials.
To address this, the Live Safe program will teach:
• Awareness
• Prevention
• Preparation for preventing HIV/AIDS in intimate relationships involving women with ID.
The program is designed for use in group or discussion settings with women who have ID/DD and the people and organizations that support them.
Sexual Content Warning: This program contains frank discussions of sexual acts; including sexual slang, use of contraceptive devices, and explicit graphic depictions of male and female genitalia. The parent, advocate, support staff, or case manager setting up this program is responsible for displaying its content only to appropriately mature viewers.
